PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the party had filed separate pleas in all the registries of the apex court. "I request the chief justice of Pakistan, that you are looking after the biggest court in the country and we believe that injustice is being done with us."
He went on to say that when a crime takes place, the victim has the right to register a first information report (FIR) as per the country's laws.
"Then an ex-prime minister, leading the biggest political party, should he not get the right to register a FIR according to his will?"
He lamented that a man who had been attacked had not been given the right to bring those he held responsible to justice.
