RAWALPINDI: A four-year-old boy who went missing on Saturday while playing outside his Usmanpura house was found safe and sound in Mughal Saria locality on Sunday morning.

Mohammad Hassan lodged an FIR with the City police stating that his child left home on Saturday and went missing.

The parents and relatives launched a search for the missing child but after their efforts proved unproductive they sought police help and lodged a kidnapping case.

A police official, who was leading the investigation, told Dawn that the child was found staying with some notables of Mughal Saria located off Raja Bazaar.

He said the notables were looking for his relatives since he was found roaming in the street.

Police said the child was handed over to his parents on Sunday.
