SAHIWAL: A young man strangled his sister to death over a minor dispute at Bahawal Fityana village on Friday evening.

Zawar fatally strangled his sister Azra Bano, 17, with her scarf after a quarrel. Their parents, reports said, were not at home at the time of the incident. Zawar succeeded to run away from home.

The Bahadur Shah police registered a murder case against the absconder on the complaint of his father.

ROBBERY: Robbers drove away with a tractor-trailer laden with gunny bags worth Rs2.6 million besides two mobile phones and Rs10,000 from the driver.

The Noor Shah police registered a case.
