The Islamabad police has requested Rawalpindi's administration to stop protesters gathered at Faizabad from "illegal actions".
"Demonstrators are gathered with sticks, slingshots and stones — these protesters may also be armed," the police said, adding that the gathered crowd had also pelted stones at the police.
