LAHORE: Help desk of Pakistan Railways police (Lahore station) on Friday reunited two girls with their families, who ran off their homes over domestic issues.

According to a spokesman, Ashifa, 13, travelled from Narowal to Lahore by Lasani Express, while Umm-i-Kulsoom, 19, was found at platform of the Lahore railway station by Head Constable Umer Farooq.

The latter was unable to recall the mobile number of her father and the railways police arranged her safe drop-off to her home.

Meanwhile, the PR police traced and handed over a lost clutch bag containing Rs61,000 and a gold ring owned by a woman passenger. The woman was travelling by Rehman Baba Express from Wazirabad to Hafizabad. After reaching the destination, she reported about her lost bag to one of the constables of railways police.

The constable promptly informed on-duty constable M. Bilal of Wazirabad station, who traced the purse and returned to her.
