Man kills wife in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A man gunned down his wife over a land dispute in Green Town, Grid Road, here on Wednesday.

District police spokesman Imtiaz Ali Janjua said that Mohammad Jalil Sappal opened fire at his wife and killed her on the spot when she was going home after buying groceries in the limits of Cantt police station.

After receiving information, the police reached the crime scene while the body was shifted to the district headquarters hospital.

According to the police, the cause of the murder was stated to be a land dispute and a case in this regard was also under process in the court. The police registered a case against the suspect on the report of the woman’s brother and have started investigations.
