RAWALPINDI: As many as 71 more dengue patients reported to the three government hospitals in the garrison city on Tuesday.

Officials said 238 confirmed dengue patients were admitted in the hospitals - 63 in Holy Family Hospital (HFH), 105 in Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) and 70 in the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.

They said 180 of the patients belonged to the Rawalpindi district, 42 were from Islamabad, eight from Attock, two each from Bagh and Haripur while one each from Mandi Bahauddin, Bannu, Sudhnoti, Mohmand, Abbottabad and Peshawar.

Among the new patients, 32 arrived from Potohar Town, nine from Rawalpindi Cantonment, 11 from city areas, six from Chaklala Cantonment, seven from rural areas, four from Taxila, one from Kahuta and Gujar Khan.
