HYDERABAD: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that Sindh government would pay Rs1m each to heirs of each person died during monsoon rains, and added that those whose houses had been damaged would be helped to rebuild them.

He made a jibe at Punjab government for stopping a Sindh government vendor’s trucks laden with relief goods for Sindh and confiscating them. He denied that there were any differences with federal government over international assistance for rain victims as it was being disbursed by NDMA.
