ISLAMABAD: Mohammad Ammad of Pakistan Air Force and Army’s Sana Bahadur won the boys and girls U-19 titles of the PSF Junior Squash Circuit-2 here at the Mushaf Squash Complex on Friday.

Ammad defeated Anas Ali Shah of Punjab 11-4, 11-5, 11-8 in the boys’ final while Sana won her title by beating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mehwish Ali 9-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-5.

As part of its Juniors’ Development Programme & Talent Hunt at grassroots, the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) organised the event, which started on June 27, featuring 263 players from across Pakistan.

Besides the U-19 deciders, the finals of U-17, U-15, U-13 and U-11 were also held on Friday.

Punjab’s Faizan Khan won the boys’ U-11 title beating Syed Mohammad Hussain, also of Punjab, 11-3, 11-2, 7-0 as the latter retired hurt.

PAF’s Ahmed Rayyan Khalil overcame Shahzaib, also of PAF, 8-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-5 to secure the boys U-13 title.

Azan Ali of Army downed KP’s Umair Arif 2-11, 12-10, 11-8, 14-12 to win the boys’ U-15 crown.

PAF’s Abdullah Nawaz beat Huraira Khan, also of PAF 11-4, 11-9, 11-6 to claim the U-17 title.
