RAWALPINDI: Commissioner Noorul Amin Mengal on Friday said that he would not tolerate further paper leak and strict action would be taken against those who play with future of young generation.

The commissioner who holds additional charge of Chairman of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi presided over a high level meeting at the board office.

Additional Commissioner Coordination Saif Anwar Jappa, Prof. Liaqat Abbasi Member Special Committee, Mohammad Adnan Khan Secretary and senior officials of the Rawalpindi board attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the commissioner said negligence in the arrangements for the ninth grade annual examination 2022 would not be tolerated. He said it was the duty of the board officials to provide the best examination environment to the candidates appearing in the exams.

He said he would personally supervise all the examination matters. He directed all the examination staff appointed by the board including resident inspectors, mobile inspectors, chairman squad, special squad, superintendent and deputy superintendent to perform their duties in an efficient manner so that the candidates could appear in the examination wholeheartedly.

He said attention would be given to ensure that no candidate was abused or mistreated. He said that reports of all examination centres were being taken on daily basis.

Giving a briefing on the occasion, BISE officials and special committee members said the supervision of all examination centres has been tightened.

They said that intelligence agencies reports of examination centres are being taken from the intelligence agencies.

They said that they had put a secret bar code on all leaflets. Strict legal and disciplinary action will be taken against any person who becomes a tool of the cheating mafia through illegal means and that person will not be entitled to any concession, they said.

A senior BISE official informed the meeting about the arrangements made for the ninth annual examination 2022 that inspectors had been posted in all the examination centres.

“Board officials have also been posted to monitor the sensitive examination centres who will submit their reports on daily basis.
