On Thursday, Nasreen’s family members alleged that police had released the suspects who were arrested in the case. They alleged that they were being pressurised by police to not to pursue the case.

However, SP Investigation Ziaullah Khan rejected the allegations of the family, saying all the three suspects were in custody and they were on judicial remand. He added that murder sections of the PPC have been added to the FIR after the death of Nasreen.
