CHAGAI: State Minister for Energy Mir Mohammad Hashim Notezai has said that far-flung areas in Rakhshan division will be connected with national grid and Rs1 billion will be spent in this regard.

Speaking at a public meeting at Qesco’s Dalbandin Office, the minister said: “Till now Rs30 million have been spent on different electricity-related projects in Chagai. The power load-shedding will be reduced to two more hours in the area and issues related to low voltage will also be tackled.”

He also announced creation of a new sub division for Qesco in Dalbandin.
