KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that allegations levelled by the opposition Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf against the chief election commissioner (CEC) were condemnable.

Reacting on the statement of PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Minister Memon said that the PTI had become cluttered on expected adverse decision in the foreign funding case.

He recalled that Imran Khan himself had been taking credit of selection of the CEC.

It had become a matter of routine for the PTI leadership to malign the institutions of the country, he said, asking the party leader to must refrain from levelling baseless allegations against the institutions.
