CHARSADDA: A man killed his wife and her alleged paramour in the name honour in Shnow Ghundai area in the limits of Saro police station here on Tuesday.

According to police and locals, the man allegedly opened firing on his wife and her alleged paramour. The woman got serious injuries and later succumbed to her wounds while the man died on the spot.

The woman told police in injured condition that her husband fired at her and the man due to unknown reasons. The suspect managed to escape after the incident. Police registered a case and started investigation.

Meanwhile, a woman identified as wife of Khan of Bakra was killed in a gas cylinder blast when she was preparing Sehri for her family in Shabqaddar.

The blast was so powerful that roof of the room collapsed.
