Pakistan has reported 443 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and no new deaths.

This is the first time in two years since no death was reported from the coronavirus with the last instance being on March 23, 2020.

The positivity rate has been recorded at 1.3 per cent, up from 0.8pc a day before.

The countrywide breakdown is as follows:

  • Sindh: 307 cases
  • Punjab: 70 cases
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 41 cases
  • Islamabad: 18 cases
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 5 cases
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 1 cases
  • Balochistan: 1 case
