PESHAWAR: The district administration has set up 17 Ramazan counters here to provide necessary daily use items to people at discounted prices. Deputy commissioner, Peshawar, Shafiullah Khan inaugurated the Ramazan counter at a shop in Hashtnagri area of the city. He said on this occasion that such counters had been set up in 17 major stores of the district.

He said that all necessary items of the daily use would be available for general public at discounted prices at these counters.

Mr Khan said that the district administration officials would regularly inspect these counters to provide relief to general public.

Meanwhile, commissioner Peshawar division Riaz Khan Meshud directed the officials to replicate this model in other districts as well.
