Pakistan reports 609 new Covid cases, 3 more deaths

Pakistan has reported 609 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours and three more fatalities.

The positivity rate has been recorded at 1.7 per cent.

The countrywide breakdown is as follows:

  • Sindh: 306 cases
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 134 cases, 1 death
  • Punjab: 125 cases, 2 deaths
  • Islamabad: 21 cases
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 11 cases
  • Balochistan: 8 cases
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 4 cases
