Knowledge should never be stopped. Wherever you are, whatever you do, keep reading and expend your knowledge. Recently, in my search for finding an exemplary, yet fascinating website, I stopped at a site that caught my attention for its pure, legit and quality content.

The site is Library of congress – Every day Mysteries. As the title of the website suggests, yes, it’s a gem in providing knowledge and answers to queries related to everyday phenomena that we often take for granted.

For instance, have you ever thought of why do pigeons bob their heads when they walk? What does it mean when they say the universe is expanding? Or how do cats communicate with each other? These and many more interesting questions are answered elaborately with scientific explanation.

According to the site, the questions presented on the website are asked by researchers and answered by librarians from the Library’s Science Reference Services.

And for those of you who don’t know, the Library of Congress is the largest library in the world, with millions of books, recordings, photographs, newspapers, maps and manuscripts in its collections. The Library is the main research arm of the US Congress and the home of the US Copyright Office.

All the answers or the articles are listed under their related categories, you can scroll through the main page and explore categories, such as agriculture, astronomy, biology and human science, botany, chemistry, food and nutrition, metrology, climatology, physics, technology and many more.

Clicking any of these categories will open related questions and articles. So if you don’t know how and who invented the frozen food, or how a touchscreen works visit the site and read the answers to the questions you never thought of before.

All the articles contained on this site are to the point, clear to understand, and in a large font. There are very few distractions on in the site, therefore it is easy to navigate. Moreover, if you have a question for the site’s science librarians, use their online form to ask your question.
