Hyderabad gain first innings lead

KARACHI, Nov 16: Hyderabad were better placed after having earned a first innings lead of 92 gainst Karachi Harbour (KH) on the second day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League match on Wednesday at UBL Ground.

Replying to KH’s first innings total of 171, Hyderabad thanks to fine knocks by Aqeel Anjum (73), Shahid Qambrani (48) and Shoaib Laghari (46) took the lead.

KH in their second innings ended the day at 101 for two wickets to lead by nine runs with seven wickets in hand.

Faisal Iqbal was unbeaten 43.
