LAHORE: PPP co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari arrived here on Friday.

According to the party, Mr Zardari, during his three-day stay in the city, will visit PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain to inquire after him.

He will also meet Punjab Assembly Speaker Parvez Elahi and the PPP leaders.

CM: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Friday visited a private hospital to inquire after the PML-Q president.

He met Chaudhry Shafey Hussain and MNA Salik Hussain, sons of Chaudhry Shujaat and asked them about their father’s well-being, praying for his early recovery.

He said Shujaat is a senior politician who has always promoted the politics of tolerance and modesty in Pakistan.
