KHUZDAR: Three people were killed and 10 others injured in a road accident in Ornach area of Khuzdar district on Sunday.

Levies officials said that a Karachi-bound passenger coach coming from Quetta crashed against a bridge near Kararo area in Ornach, leaving three passengers dead on the spot and 10 others injured.

Levies officials and rescue teams rushed to the area soon after receiving the information about the accident and shifted bodies and the injured to the government hospital in Ornach.

The incident took place when the driver lost control over the steering and the coach hit the bridge.

The dead were identified as Mohammad Yasin, Muhammad Arsalan and Abdul Samad Khan. Bodies of the victims were handed over to their families after autopsy.

Levies officials said that the injured were taken to Karachi after initial treatment.
