Children should have things that match their size, so it’s no wonder that small and tiny things — whether toys, stationary items or even the decorative stuff — are what attract them more than adult-sized things.
So, if you are one of those kids who like miniature toys and stationary items, today’s craft will definitely delight you. What we are going to make today are two crafts, a tiny notebook shaped as a briefcase, while the other is a pocket paper wallet to keep your notes and money right in their place!
Let us begin with the wallet first:
Things you need:
A-4 sized coloured papers (six colours of your choice)
Double tape
Scissors
Glue stick
Any ATM card, to mark the size.
Directions:
Cut the A-4 size paper into half, and put the card in the centre, then fold the paper from both sides, picture 2.
Take the card out and paste the folded edges of the paper, picture 3.
Fold this paper into half, as shown in picture 4.
Paste double tape on the inside of the folded paper, (this sticks both the sides with each other), see picture 5.
Make five (or more) such pockets, picture 6.
Now, paste these pockets to one another with the help of double tape, picture 7.
Cut out a single paper, the size of the pockets, to make their cover and paste it over them, pictures 8 and 9.
This cute paper wallet is ready; you can put your money or an important note and keep it with you. The size is perfect for your pocket, pictures 10 and 11.
To make the tiny briefcase, cut two-inch wide paper strips from A-4 size paper, picture 12.
Fold the strips in accordion shape with the width of 1.5 inches and the height of A-4 sized paper (you can cut separate pieces if you like), picture 13.
Paste these accordion strips into the same-sized paper cover, picture 14.
Cut out handles from different coloured paper and paste them on top of the case, picture 15.
There you are, your cute miniature notebook and paper wallet are ready!
