KARACHI: Calling the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ‘vultures’, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday reacted strongly to criticism on Prime Minister Imran Khan by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at a rally staged on Friday at Quaidabad.

“Foul language against the premier and our party leader will not be tolerated anymore,” warned Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh while addressing a press conference at his office. Senior PTI leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi was also present.

Mr Sheikh said the PPP leaders were looking for excuses to cover up their failure in Sindh, but being the opposition party, they would keep exposing them for their corruption and illegal moves.

Criticising the PPP leadership, he said: “The CM should be ashamed of using indecent language against the federal government in a public gathering. Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Murad Ali Shah and their cronies should answer about their performance. They are accountable for deceiving the people of Sindh for the past 13 years.”

He said the people of Sindh did not have access to clean drinking water and better health facilities while they were being deprived of education, roads and other basic facilities. On the other hand, he alleged, the chief executive of the province was busy in supervising land grabbing activities by the police of different districts.
