KARACHI: Youth Hockey Club (Orange) continued their winning spree when they humbled Yazik Club 4-0 in the Inter-Club Hockey Championship at the KHA Sports Complex on Thursday.

Abdul Wahab scored a brace while Measum Abbas and Hassan Ali netted once for the winners.

It may be mentioned that the winners had outplayed Spartan Club 6-0 in their pool opener.

This was Yazik Club’s second straight loss in Pool ‘B’ and they are out of reckoning from the quarter-finals race.

A hat-trick by Sibtain Raza enabled Karachi Gladiators Club overwhelm Sea Hawk Club by a tennis score, 6-0, to keep their winning run intact.

Sibtain slammed his goals in 26th, 34th and 35th minutes. He was followed by Ahmed Ali who scored a brace while Rayyan-ur-Rehman scored once.

Beecham Club held Baldia Club to a 2-2 draw to share points in the third match of the day.

Fareed Mansoor scored both the goals for Beecham Club while Mohammad Bilal and Bilawal Niazi chipped in one goal each for Baldia Club.

Friday’s fixtures: Karachi Kings Club vs Al Sagheer Club (Whites) at 3pm; Youth Club (Blues) vs Federal Club at 4pm; Al Faisal Club vs Karachi Tigers Club at 5pm.
