GUJAR KHAN: A man was burnt to death after he ‘accidentally’ fell into the coal furnace at a brick kiln near Mandra on Monday.

According to the details, Iftikhar Hussain, 24, a resident of Azad Kashmir used to work as a labourer at the brick kiln near Arjun railway crossing near Mandra and on Sunday morning he fell into the burning coal furnace while throwing coals.

Rescue 1122 reached the spot and shifted the body to Gujar Khan Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

In-charge Rescue 1122 Usman said that the body of the victim was completely burnt.

Similarly, a few months ago, a teenage boy had also lost his life after he fell into a furnace in the same area.
