MUZAFFARGARH: The 18th death anniversary of the ace politician, Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan, was held in his hometown Khangarh on Sunday. Scores of people attended the ceremony.

Talking to media persons, PTI MPA Nawabzada Mansoor Khan said the late Nawab sahab devoted his life for democracy and worked for it. At a separate ceremony, MNA Nawabzada Iftikhar said his late father worked to promote democratic culture in Pakistan.

Nawabzada’s Pakistan Democratic Party was merged into the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and Pakistan Peoples Party as Nawazada’s eldest son, Nawabzada Mansoor, contested the 2013 and 2018 elections on PTI platform and became MPA while Mansoor’s younger brother Nawabzada Iftikhar Khan became MNA on the PPP ticket in 2018. Both brothers hold separate death anniversary every year. A good number of people attended Dua at both sides.
