LAHORE: The Punjab government has transferred the District Police Officers (DPOs) of Attock and Pakpattan besides reshuffling six other officers across the province.

Attock DPO Khalid Mahmood Hamdani was transferred and posted as AIG Procurement at Central Police Office.

Rawalpindi SSP Operations Rana Shoib Mehmood has been transferred and posted as new Attock DPO.

Pakpattan DPO Malik Jamil Zafar has been transferred and directed to report to the CPO. There are reports that his services have been surrendered to Establishment Division, Islamabad, under the rotation policy.

According to the notification, the Punjab IGP also transferred AIG Procurement, Central Police Office, Faisal Mukhtar and posted him as new DPO of Pakpattan.

Punjab Highway Patrol Sargodha Tanveer Ahmad Malik has been transferred and posted as Faisalabad CTO vice Shahzada Umar Abbas who has been transferred and posted as SP City Division Gujranwala vice Waqar Azeem.

Mr Waqar has been transferred and directed to report to the CPO Punjab for further posting, according to the notification.
