ISLAMABAD: The government on Tuesday appointed Noor Ahmed, a BS-22 officer of Secretariat Group, as executive director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for a term of four years starting from July 1, 2021.
He is at present working as federal secretary of economic affairs division.
Mr Ahmed will replace former secretary of finance Shahid Mehmood, Pakistan’s current executive director, whose tenure comes to an end on June 30, 2021.
