KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail visited the house of the heirs of four martyrs of a Pakistan-origin family who were murdered by an extremist in Ontario, Canada and offered condolence with Ms Nazhat Shamim, sister of the martyred woman and brother-in-law Shamim Ahmed in Karachi on Thursday.
The governor was accompanied by Member Provincial Assembly Ali Aziz, Shehzad Qureshi and Advisor to Governor Sindh Umed Ali Junejo. The governor expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the death of four family members of Pakistani origin in the tragic incident.
Later, talking to media, the Sindh governor said that this incident had hurt the feelings of Muslims all over the world. “I urge the international community to take steps to crack down on such incidents around the world.”
The governor appealed to the international community to ensure the safety of lives and property of all Muslims and Pakistanis living abroad. He said that the government stands with the bereaved family at this time.
