RAWALPINDI: On-campus examination commenced at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) on Tuesday amid observance of strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Educational institutions in the Rawalpindi district opened on June 7, 2021. Some of the students had their reservations about the management’s decision to hold on-campus exams, however their concerns were addressed and resolved on a priority basis by higher academics and security officials.

A university spokesperson said students were satisfied with the management’s final decision in this regard, taken in meetings held on June 4 and 7.

“The students were further referred to their respective departments for immediate addressal of their concerns,” she said, adding university authorities are in continuous contact with students and are ready to facilitate them.

FJWU’s administration asks all students with genuine concerns to approach their respective departments instead of playing into the hands of external elements.

“Fatima Jinnah Women University is committed to excellence in education and practices student-centered policies. In order to promote a conducive academic environment, the senior management of FJWU urges all worthy parents of FJWU students to advise them to focus on their studies,” she said.
