SHANGLA: The district administration has established 10 more vaccination centers in all tehsils of the district to ensure speedy vaccination of people against Covid-19.

Deputy Commissioner Hamidur Rehman told journalists here on Monday that about 26,000 people vaccinated so far in the district.

He said that the number of Covid-19 vaccination centres was increased from two to 12 in the district. He said that three centres were set up in Alpuri, two in Bisham two in Chakesar.

A centre was also established in Shahpur and five in Puran. So far, 26,000 people across the district have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the assistant commissioner of Bisham, Mohammad Younas Khan, held a meeting with the religious scholars and traders and urged them to create awareness among people about the importance of vaccination against the deadly virus. He asked the traders get vaccinated.

The traders and religious scholars assured him that they would play their due role to create awareness among people and convince them to get vaccinated.

On the occasion, the religious clerics and traders were administered the fist jab of the vaccine.
