GORAKH Hill station has become one of the popular destinations for tourists over the past few years, but little has been done by the relevant authorities to make it a tourist-friendly site. The hill station lacks all the basic facilities for both the tourists and the locals. The road which leads to Wahi Pandhi and subsequently to the hill station is a hotspot of accidents due to its poor condition.

High-paying jobs in the region are only provided to those who are in the good books of the authorities. The rest of the people are deprived of any decent opportunity to earn a living.

Every year, federal and provincial governments earmark massive amounts for the development of the hill station, but no tangible improvement can be seen as yet.

The prime minister and the provincial chief minister should take notice of the situation and save tourism in Gorakh.
