GWADAR: National Party (NP) president Abdul Malik Baloch has said his party will continue its political and democratic struggle for the rights of the people of Balochistan.

Speaking at a public meeting in Turbat on Monday, the NP leader said government and opponent groups were hatching a conspiracy to keep his party away from mainstream politics.

On the occasion, prominent political and tribal elder of Makran Mir Munshi Mohammad, along with hundreds of his supporters, joined the NP.

Dr Baloch said when leaders of other parties met the Chinese diplomat, no objection was raised but when the NP leadership met him it was accused of treason.
