TAXILA: One person was killed while two others were injured in two different incidents in Attock district on Saturday.

In the first incident, a man was killed while his friend was injured critically when a speeding hit their motorcycle on Rawalpindi-Kohat road near College Stop in the limits of Jand police station, killing Mohammad Tanveer on the spot while Wahab,36, was injured critically.

The driver of the car managed to escape from the scene.

In the second incident, a man was found unconscious near Haji Shah along G.T. Road in the limits of Attock Police station.

Police sources said that some passerby spotted a man lying along the roadside in unconscious condition and informed rescue services which shifted the man to District Headquarters Hospital. Initial reports said the man had torture marks.

No identification documents were found from his possession.

Respective police have registered separate cases and started further investigation.
