Pakistan and Superpowers: A Historical Perspective
Mehrunissa Ali

A collection of articles previously published in various journals, books and newspapers provides a historical perspective of the impact on Pakistan’s foreign relations as a result of the involvement of superpowers in regional conflicts. The author examines four decades of interference to explain Pakistan’s navigation of foreign relations with the erstwhile Soviet Union, the United States, China, Afghanistan and Indonesia among others.
