KARACHI: The US consulate general in Karachi broke ground at a US Pakistan Friendship Garden in Clifton’s Urban Forest in celebration of Arbour Day (celebrated in April in the US), here on Friday.
Located in the heart of Karachi, the addition to the urban forest will be a sustainable symbol of the United States’ partnership with Pakistan to tackle the climate crisis. “We are investing in the health and well-being of the Karachi community,” said US Consul General Rob Silberstein.
The Urban Forest was formed in 2016 using the Miyawaki method.
