PESHAWAR: Pakistan Islamic Medical Association has demanded of the government to increase the number of vaccination centres and expedite awareness campaign about significance of vaccine to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

Addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday, PIMA representatives Dr Tayyab, Dr Wahab, Dr Fakhr Alam and Abdul Wadood said that government should ensure provision of anti-coronavirus vaccine to all people with support of the reliable non-governmental organisations.

They urged the people to follow the government instructions for vaccination and ignore the rumors regarding authenticity of the vaccine.

They asked the people to follow the standard operating procedure (SOPs) and stay safe in the prevailing alarming situation.
