Sindh has reported more than 900 new cases of the coronavirus for the second straight day with 952 infections and six deaths registered in the last 24 hours, according to an update from Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s office. This has taken the provincial caseload to 278,545 and the death toll to 4,599.

The 952 new cases are the highest daily infection number reported since January 29, when 1,323 cases were registered.

As per the update, 158 more people recovered from the virus in Sindh, where 16,938 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
