MIRPURKHAS: The remains of a man were found in a mosque located in Paradise City, a private housing scheme, in the Old Mirpur area on Thursday.

Area police collected the remains and later identified the deceased as Abdul Ghafoor Baloch, 65, a resident of Karachi. They said the identity was established by the CNIC he possessed.

The police said some residents of the village approached them after seeing the body with almost destroyed mass lying in a portion of the mosque.

Doctors at the Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital believed that the man had died at least three months ago.
