Pakistan has reported 6,127 coronavirus infections over the last 24 hours, marking the highest daily number of cases since June 14, 2020, when 6,365 cases were confirmed.

The total number of coronavirus cases has reached 756,285 while the positivity rate has climbed to 8.5 per cent.

The countrywide breakdown of cases in the last 24 hours is as follows:

  • Punjab: 3,562
  • Sindh: 673
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 958
  • Balochistan: 62
  • Islamabad: 650
  • Gilgit Baltistan: 2
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 220
