LAHORE: PML-N Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that before registering a case of terrorism against party Punjab president Rana Sanaullah, the imposed PTI government must prosecute Imran Khan Niazi who is an absconder in a terrorism case.

In a series of tweets responding to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Marriyum said Imran had been an absconder for almost seven years now. She said a case was registered against Imran in 2014 for his violence- inciting remarks. However, she said Imran had not been arrested in this case till date. She said such double standards would not be allowed.

The former Information minister said Imran’s threats to the IG police, incitement to violence against police, statements of grabbing police, PM and officials by the neck and dragging them out, shutting down the country, cussing parliament and telling people to attack PTV were still echoing at D-Chowk.
