ABBOTTABAD: Hazara division commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud has directed all the deputy commissioners to ensure that consumers got essential food items at subsidised rates in the Ramazan sasta bazaars.

Talking to reporters here, he said as many as 15 sasta bazaars had been established across Hazara division to provide relief to the poor during the fasting month.

He directed the price control magistrates to keep a check on rates of essential items in the bazaars. He said the Ramzan sasta bazaars and Insaf Sahulat mobile shops were launched on the directives of the provincial government.

He said Ramazan Insaf Sahulat mobile shops comprising 10 vehicles would provide fruits, vegetables and other items to the public at subsidised rates. Besides this, Ramazan Dastarkhawan and mobile Dastarkhawan have also been launched, he added.
