RAWALPINDI: A two-year-old boy, who went missing on Monday, was found dead in a swamp in the jurisdiction of Naseerabad police station.

Mohammad Subhan, the youngest son of Mohammad Kamran, left his house to play outside in the street while his parents were at work.

After sunset, the boy’s parents along with villagers searched for him the entire night but were unable to trace him.

His body was found in a swamp, not far away from his residence.

Police said the deceased was shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital for postmortem so that the cause of death could be ascertained.
