KARACHI: Usman Club and Arambagh Club beat their respective rivals to qualify for the final of the SSB Pakistan Day Cup basketball tournament here at ther Arambagh-Abdul Nasir courts on Saturday.

In the first match, Usman Club beat St Patrick’s Club 38-32. The main scorers for the winners were Faizan Sheikh (12 pts) while Moeed Amir and Usman Tayyab scored 10 points each.

For the losing side, the leading scorers were Ray Sutton (10 pts) and Jonathan (9 pts).

In the second match, Arambagh Club beat Peterson Star Club 35-30 with Saad Salahuddin and Obaid Hafeez scoring 11 points each for the winners.

For the losing side, the main scorers were Steven Fernandes (16 pts) and Perera (10 pts).
