Pakistan has reported 100 fatalities from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, more than double the number of deaths recorded a day earlier and marking the first time since December that the country reported single-day fatalities in triple digits.
Pakistan had reported 111 deaths from the coronavirus on December 23, 2020.
The countrywide breakdown of fatalities is as follows:
- Punjab: 73
- Sindh: 4
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 18
- Balochistan: 1
- Islamabad: 2
- Gilgit Baltistan: 0
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 2
