LAHORE: The Township police arrested three sons of alleged land grabber Mansha ‘Bamm’ and sent them behind the bars for illegally occupying land of a citizen and looting him at gunpoint.

The police registered an extortion and land-grabbing case against Malik Mansha alas Bamm and his three sons -- Amir Mansha, Faisal Mansha, Tariq Mansha -- and their five armed accomplices.

According to the FIR lodged by a citizen, Sufyan, the suspects attempted to illegally occupy his two-kanal precious land located in Gulshan-e-Mustafa Scheme.

Earlier, he said, the suspects had also made him to pay Rs312,000 as extortion money, besides depriving him of three-tola gold ornaments and a valuable wrist watch, by hurling life threats at him.

The police team formed for the purpose raided the suspects’ houses and other premises and arrested the three sons of Mansha, who was yet to be taken in custody in the same case.
