SAHIWAL: Five persons were killed and two others injured on Monday when two motorcycles were hit by a bus near Gadiyain village on Arifwala road.

According to eyewitnesses, a Hasilpur-bound bus hit two motorcycles, on which seven persons were riding, from behind on Arifwala Road near 101/9-L, Gadiyani.

As a result, three of them died on the spot. As per Rescue 1122, the bodies of the three deceased persons were crushed so badly that they could not be identified.

Two others, who were killed in the accident, were identified as Shaukat Ali (46) and his wife Sharifan Bibi (44). Shaukat’s sons Hassan (16) and Sami (11) were critically injured and shifted to the DHQ Hospital.
