RAWALPINDI: In its ongoing operation against violation of building by-laws, Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976 and RDA Building and Zoning Regulations 2020 in Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Saturday sealed four shops.

The shops were sealed in Mouza Kalyal and Mouzal Dhagal on Adiala Road Rawalpindi.

The operation was conducted by RDA’s Land Use and Building Control (LU&BC) wing. The owners of these properties constructed illegal commercial buildings without approval and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).

An RDA spokesman said that owners of these properties carried out development work illegally, without getting a lay out plan (LoP) approved from the authority.

The general public has been advised in their own interest that they should not make investments in an area or high rise building that has not been approved by the authority.
