Pakistan's Covid-19 tally surpasses 600,000 mark

Pakistan's Covid-19 tally has crossed the 600,000 mark after authorities reported 2,701 cases during the last 24 hours. The national tally has risen to 600,198 while the death toll is 13,430.

Region-wise breakdown of cases reported on March 12:

  • Punjab: 1632 cases, 36 deaths
  • Islamabad: 384 cases, 4 deaths
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 330 cases, 9 deaths
  • Sindh: 255 cases, 4 deaths
  • AJK: 86 cases, 1 death
  • Balochistan: 14 cases
