Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health Dr Faisal Sultan has confirmed while speaking to the media in Islamabad that he has been vaccinated with China's Sinopharm vaccine for protection against Covid-19.

He requested healthcare workers and all those eligible to receive the vaccine to "come forward and get vaccinated because it is important for your protection and to prevent the spread of the disease".

"All approved vaccines in Pakistan have very high protection against serious disease so you should get whatever vaccine is available," said Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal Sultan as he spoke to the media in Islamabad after receiving his first vaccine shot. — DawnNewsTV
